Saturday I had semi-plans.
Semi because I had plans to see friends. But have no idea what we would be doing, where we would be going, or when I was supposed to meet them.
As a planner, please understand how this would give me serious anxiety.
But I got past it. Or as much as my obsessive compulsive brain allowed me to.
Le sigh.
At least everything got done and out of the way early. Especially since my “sleeping in” was sleeping until 7am.
Being a responsible adult sucks so hard.
And because I’m responsible, I also got in my workout and even logged some time on my work lap top. On a Saturday.
Again- it sucks so harrrrrddddd…
But things got done. Because you gotta work hard to play hard.
And after spending the entire morning being responsible… I was ready to let loose.
It was noon after this was served, by the way.
Like 12:30 at least.
12 hours later, I was found shaking my booty on the dance floor with some of my favorite roommates from college.
Yeah, I don’t know how it happened, either.
Must have been thanks to another pair of lucky socks, eh?
Responsibility. I guess it’s only in my vocabulary half the time.
Nothing wrong with that.
Party on, dudes.

Sounds like a great day — and I can totally relate to the anxiety over “semi” plans
Those are some freaking awesome socks! And hey, you’ve got the work hard play hard thing down
Where didd you get those socks!?! I love em.
Being responsible is only tolerable if you have hidden immaturity -the socks being a perfect example. Well done.
Sounds like you were “responsible” for being a stud on Saturday! 12+ hours of party = no joke. Nicely done.
Happy Octoberfest sweets:) Hey, work hard play hard – you’ll make up for it next weekend;)
Haha those socks are awesome. Sounds like a great day to me!
Sounds like a good time! I would have def needed a little day drinking if I had to work on a Saturday. You deserve it.
What the hell does responsible even mean? I hate the word. HOT SOCKS.
Stupid responsibility. So overrated. I’m glad it looks like you made it to Uberstein, though. That place will loosen you up.
Your socks crack me up- I love them!
Responsibility is the least fun thing EVER. Which is why I took the weekend off and laid on my couch in my pj’s and watched chic flicks since C was with his dad and Jay was out of town!!
Responsibility is overrated. Booty shaking always trumps it
It’s all about balance!!!!
Haha, I love your Saturday night. And your socks. And you.
Not having a plan gives me the shakes. But I’m learning to let go a little bit. Just a little bit though.
Your sock collection is a site to behold. It leaves me speechless.
My idea of being a responsible adult involved getting up early on Saturday too. I had a work thing to go to, but really, it wasn’t so much work as it was being surrounded by a ton of hot men. The responsibility part of it sucked though because I had to keep myself together and be respectable. Soooooo hard.
Responsible 50% of the time is totally acceptable…we’re still in our twenties after all!
